That's right, Neverwinter is shifting from the co-operative multiplayer game that was announced last year and into full-fledged, free-to-play MMO territory. In fact, it's shifting towards the action end of the MMO spectrum.

Why has the team decided to take Neverwinter from a CORPG format to a true MMO? And what does it ultimately mean for the game and The Foundry content and all of that? Is anything sacrificed?

The change from CORPG to a full action RPG F2P MMO is a change that just made sense for us. Perfect World wanted to go big. Expand everything. Do more. Do better. Take your time. Really blow it out. Pushing into 2012 allows us to make these changes. Transitioning into a full-featured action RPG, free-to-play MMO allows us to reach a whole new audience of people. Never underestimate barriers to entry. With a free client, anyone can play. Try it. Where's the harm? It's better for the game, better for us, better for D&D and infinitely better for fans and gamers. With Neverwinter, we're going to prove that F2P does not describe a type of gameplay - it only describes the fundamentals of a business model. Konačno i gameplay trailerThe D&D system also plays heavily into the user-interface and combat of Neverwinter. Right and left mouse buttons are linked to your "At-Will" powers. Like D&D, these are your basic attacks, making up the backbone of your character's repertoire. You don't auto-attack in Neverwinter, which is part of Cryptic's attempt to make combat feel more dynamic -- like it's more focused on skill.

MMORPG: There are 60 levels, equaling the 20 levels in normal D&D campaigns. How will players choose and customize their character builds while leveling say, a Trickster Rogue?
Nerd rant aside; the 60 levels that we will have at launch do represent the characters rise through the Paragon tier. Which means at a certain point in their career, players will choose a Paragon Path which will further specialize their character.

Dugo sam čekao ovakvu igru! Imam velika očekivanja, nadam se da neće podbacit. I mnogo sam sretan jer sam upao na " closed beta" vikende 2 i 3 . Drugi pocinje 8-10 ozujka a treći od 22-24. Pa mogu postati utiske sa bete ako je netko zainteresiran
Samo daj. Ali pazi ako uopće smiješ pričati o tome, u mnogim betama ne smiješ.

Ok, a smije se govoriti o utiscima sa bete, jedino alpha testeri ne smiju nista otkrivat jer oni imaju non stop pristup, a beta testeri samo za najavljene vikende
Pozdrav, kao sto sam obecao evo par utisaka sa bete. Prvo, iako sam imao velika očekivanja moram reci da igra nije razočarala, mada ima dosta stvari za ispravit. I za ovaj vikend imali smo na raspolaganju 7 rasa i 4 klase(cleric, wizard, rogue,fighter) za igrat i level cap je bio dignut do 40 lvl.
Prva stvar sto je meni zasmetala je nedovoljan character customization, nije lose ali moglo bi biti bolje. Zatim animacije nekih likova su čudne, npr..wizard kada stoji ima neki kung fu stav sa ispruženom šakom stvarno neprirodno i smjesno, ali animatori su već rekli da rade na tome i da ce promjenit animacije likova.
Zatim, mi je zasmetalo sto neke klase kao wizard kad koriste spellove zakuju ih za zemlju dok ne dovrše napad, ali kasnje je imalo savršenog smisla jer inače bi samo hodali ukrug oko neprijatelja i bombardirali, i bilo bi prelagano.
Najveća stvar koja me je zabrinula je taj zen market, jer izgledalo je da će stvari biti preskupe kao naprimjer neki mountovi su bili 35$, al developeri su rekli kao da je to samo onako stavljeno za ovaj beta vikend da se isproba sustav i da to nisu stvarne cjene, ali vidjet cemo kad izađe.
Moram reći da Neverwinter izgleda prelijepo, grad i lokacije su zaista odlične, questovi su dobri i zanimljivi, i ni jednom mi nije bilo dosadno igrajući.
Sve u svemu mene je igra "Uvukla" i imao sam super vrijeme igrajući! Jest da je bilo dosta stvari koje trebaju popravku ali ovo je samo beta i nedovršena igra, vidjet ćemo kako će se stvari odvijat, nadam se na bolje!
