Ako je Obsidian dobio mogućnost izrade South Park igre, ne vidim ovdje nikakav problem.

Neće. Disney je kupio Marvel i nije im se petljao u posao. Naravno, osim ako ne odluče da trenutni SW nije isplativ.
Sumnjam. Novi Star Wars neće prije 2015., a to je u svijetu biznisa veoma mnogo vremena. Ako im daju ove godine licencu, stignu za dvije godine sklepati RPG, iako ne vidim problem da igra izađe u prodaju i u vrijeme novih epizoda.

Obsidian je potvrdio da su potpisali ugovor s nekim na kraju 2012. Nova SW igra, New Vegas 2 ili nešto treće?

Feargus Urquhart: If you asked me that question eight weeks ago, I would have said yes. Luckily we signed another contract in December. I can’t go into any details about it, but it’s a game that will employ at least the same number of people that are working on South Park right now. And of course, our hope is that there will be more South Park work. It would be awesome to keep on working with Matt and Trey and the group.

Mislim da je to New Vegas 2. Spika s Disneyem tek je nedavno krenula.

Kotor 2 je digao SW na sasvim novi level. Vjerojatno najbolji SW proizvod ikad.

Kotor 2 je najbolji SW zato što je najmanje SW, odnosno ima sve ono što ostali SW filmovi ili igre nemaju...Marčnu atmosferu (prvi SW koji nema nikakvog comic relief lika...dobro HK-47 je porilično smiješan, ali ne na način kao što Lucas želi da ima smiješne likove), likove koji nisu ni dobri ni loši već između,...Kotor 1 je malo imao toga, samo je drugi dio to izdigao na viši nivo...

Po ko zna koji put ću ponoviti, Kreia je najbolji NPC ikad...Jedinstven i neponovljiv lik, kakvog nisam vidio više ni u jednoj igri...

Obsidian Hoping To Work With EA/BioWare On Star Wars
First up, Disney. Turns out, the developer never actually ventured into the hallowed halls of the House of Mouse. The reason? Things were simply too unstable at the time.
“As for Disney, we didn’t end up talking with them directly, since we were waiting to see what might happen with the license as a whole,” Urquhart explained to RPS.
Now, however, all the pieces have fallen into place, and Urquhart’s ready to see if there’s room for Obsidian in EA’s master plan.
“We are certainly going to try,” he said. “We would love to work on another Star Wars game, and if it was possible for us to hook up with BioWare and EA to do so, that would be pretty amazing.”

U međuvremenu, izdan je prvi KOTOR za iPad. Kontrole su kao da se igra isključivo mišem, bez upravljanja WSAD tipkama, ali navigacija menijima je odlična jer je sve na dodir. Kul.

Knights of the Old Republic 3 was in pre-production at Obsidian
SAnother installment in the ever-popular Knights of the Old Republic series was in pre-production at Obsidian, creative director Chris Avellone told Eurogamer. Avellone said KOTOR 3 would have featured the character Revan more than KOTOR 2, from which the character was largely absent.
"I always liked the idea that Revan, as smart and powerful as your player-character was, was actually even more of a brilliant strategist than became apparent in the first game," Avellone said of Revan's role in the first game. "The entire second game is littered with clues as to 'why didn't Revan destroy the infrastructure here? What was he trying to make sure was still intact? What did he/she see that no one else saw?'" The third game would have players tracking down Revan as a character deemed "The Exile."
