Neptune's Pride is a space-themed, 4X strategy game, requiring you to explore stars, expand your empire, and exploit and exterminate your opponents. It's a completely browser-based 2D game, is powered by Flash and requires you to be signed into a Google Mail account.
The aim is to reach a target amount of stars in one star system, and to do this through whatever political and military tactics you deem most effective. You can spend money to develop the economy, perform technological research and on industry to produce ships and carriers.
The game is real-time and played over several weeks. You can log in at any time of the day to check the progress of your fleets, view the results of battles and issue new orders.
