Concerns
Lip Syncing- Audio and video do not seem to match with the mouths speaking them. I initially noticed it my first run through and as my roomate watched me play he noticed it too. The timing is not off drastically, but it is noticable.
Melee Aiming- Why does Shepard automatically look up after performing a melee? This happens with standard and heavy melee attacks. Why is this a part of the coding to automatically look up?
Run/Cover/Roll/Action- I never had much of an issue with this until the point rolling was introduced. I literally would die on harder difficulties, just because Iwould run to cover versus going into it. Roll should be it's own key or allow more options to seperate these 4 things with different buttons and keys. I see very little reason to do this for PC users (due to limited amount of buttons on controllers).
Items by Cover- As I had said previously the Action button and the Cover button are onein the same. To make it more painful someone thought it would be a good idea to include items (specifically a weapon attachment) by a cover spot. This is cool and all if it wasn't interferring with me trying to avoid fire by 10 Cereberus guys trying to kill me.
Running Sounds- Or should I say the lack of. I'm normally accustomed to Shepard going out of breath or some sort of noise to accompany the run. There is nothing really to accompany running sounds which is just a minor qualm, but it could enhance the gameplay knowning my 200 pounds male Shepard isn't defying gravity.
Walking/Running Animation- Previous installments just seemed to do it better.
Lack of Choices- I read somewhere that this was done intentionally to not spoil the game, but this is just a slap in the face for BW's marketting. Your entire premise is to give the player options on creating their own Shepard and their own storyline while the demo offers nothing more than < 10 dialogue options and the choice between Kaiden and Ashley. At least make Garrus and Wrex dead if you're going to give us the numerous dead option.
