Now I have to say I was caught off guard too. I can think of only one possibility. If you have played Mass Effect then you will continue as Shepard, surviving a near-death encounter. If you however Mass Effect 2 is your first introduction to the series then Shepard dies heroically and you take on a new character. Garrus maybe, or some other turian? I won't hazard a guess at that.BUT...if Shepherd is indeed dead, then that is a huge [monkey]Scop out. I didn't play my main file in Mass Effect 1 for 80+ hours under the promise of being able to continue through two more games with him just to have him killed off like that.Mišljenja nekih sa Mass Effect community-a.Sorry, but I think it's a horrid teaser. After all this time waiting for a sequel/continuance and Shepard's dead? Absurd. I like the game a lot, but if this is what I have to look forward to after building up a series of characters, waiting and hoping to continue with them in the next "chapter".... perhaps I'll look for another game.

Prešao sam prvi dio 3 puta.
Volio bih da je Shepard živ, ali eto.
Prošao sam mass effect 1 i što drugo reći nego...svaka čast bioware.
Samo se nadam da će planeti u mass effect 2 biti malo raznovrsniji te da će staviti i koji grad na planet, jer na jedinici skoro svi planeti izgledaju slično-brdovita područja sa tu i tamo s nekim underground facilityom(naravno osim onih na kojima se dešava main quest).
U Mass Effectu je bilo puno neiskorištenih lokacija koje su zapravo samo služile za istraživanje. Bilo bi super kada bi u Mass Effectu 2 nadodali malo više Side-questova. Glavni Quest je istina bio super, ali meni ipak prekratak.

Electro-Magnetic Pulse, sretstvo koje onesposobi svaki predmet koji koristi električnu energiju, pa tako i robote, za one koje neznaju i cijelo sam se vrijeme pitao gdje je to nestalo. Tehnologija u Mass Effectu je daleko naprednija od naše, a mi već imamo EMP i koliko ja znam Normandy je mogao utopit cijeli planet sa zračenjem toga i tek onda nas pustiti da se bavimo njima, ili barem staviti nešto na Makoa.EMP?

Kako sam i mislio, a na posljetku je potvrđeno, Mass Effect 2 ovaj put izlazi i za Xbox 360 a i za PC, pocetkom 2010.godine, ako ne bude nikakvih odgoda. O PS3 verziji trenutno nema nista, sto mi je pomalo i cudno. Detaljnije vidi ovdje
