Guild Wars 2, because it has a persistent world now you’ll be on a server, and servers will compete against different servers. So you and all your friends can just go to the front lines and fight against other servers and try to take control of different resources that benefit your entire world. And that kind of PvP I think is really easy to get into because it’s not like you have to try to get onto a team and then if you’re not doing a good job your teammates aren’t saying, “Hey, you’re using up a slot in our team that someone else could be using.” It’s just the more the merrier – you can just walk out there and start fighting. If your world can get 300 people instead of 200 people then that’s all the better for your world, so let’s all get out there and fight, right?

Sve izgleda odlično, samo što malo modeli likova klipsaju za inače odličnim krajolicima i arhitekturom.
Jedino me strah kako će to sve izgleda kad igra izađe, vizualno mislim, i grafika još naprednija bude tada.

Q: Give us a short history of the new races in the game. What will players be able to choose?

A: There are five races available to play in GW2--the humans, charr, norn, asura and sylvari.

When a player creates a character in Guild Wars 2, they will be able to answer many questions about their personal character history. These answers will help determine your personal story in the game. As many fans have theorized, one of the first things you choose is a 'subdivision' of your race, which provides a more personal feel to your character's history. For the humans, that means their ancestry--Elonan, Krytan, Ascalonian and Canthan--and also their social status as gentry or commoners of the city of Divinity's Reach. For charr, it primarily means their legion, whether Blood, Ash, or Iron. The asura choose between the three most respected colleges of learning; Synergetics, Dynamics, and Statics. The sylvari follow the path of their seasonal cycle, or the time of day in which they awakened, being Dawn, Day, Twilight or Night. The norn choose their personal totem, and may choose to walk in the path of bear, snow leopard, raven or wolf. From these and other initial determinations, a wealth of personalized storylines develop, so that each player in the game experiences a story that is individually tailored to their character.

Meanwhile, NCsoft confirmed that the console versions of Blade and Soul and Guild Wars 2 are also under stable development. iskreno, hoce li ova igra konacno donijet nekakvu pravu konkurenciju WoW-u, jer da budem iskren dosta mi WoW-a, zato sam ga i presto igrat, ali volio bi odigrat neki kvalitetan MMORPG-

nezelim igrat GW zbog niza stvari, prva je sto ima hiljadu ekspanzija, druga cuo sam da nevidis nikoga u svijetu ako nisu s tobom u party-u/gildu ili sto vec? to mi je preglupo, jednostavno to nebih mogao podnijeti.

Upravo suprotno,ovdje možeš igrati s bilokime bilokada jer tu nema uopće pravih servera već samo districti koje mjenjaš u roku keks.
Jedino što postoji uočljiviji sustav instanci kao i kod raidowa u WoWu.
