Formally known as Adrift by the developer Dontnod, the game resurfaces with Capcom as the new publisher and a change of name to ‘Remember Me’. From the trailer released at Gamescom, Remember Me looks to be a cyberpunk third person action adventure plat-former. Capcom has provided some information about the upcoming game and revealed that it will take place in Neo-Paris and will be set in 2084.
Gamers will “take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity,” states the official statement by Capcom and Dontnod Entertainment. The game centres on an economy where memories are the main currency and can be bought and sold to anyone.
