Details about the project are still scarce at the moment. Forum members on NeoGAF have extracted some information from the upcoming issue of PC Gamer. They include:
- 2013 release
- Main campaign is Eastern front, playing as Russians
- Lots of snow. Snow slows down troops and tanks, but can also form cover.
- Units can vault over cover such as low walls.

Jedva čekam! Samo da mape budu malo kompliciranije iako ni stare nisu loše. Mogu zamisliti mapu sa važnijim ciljevima od samih control pointsa i resursa kao što mogu biti važni putevi, uzvišenja sa kojih bi artiljerija i oklop mogli pucati dalje, zone gdje može proći samo pješadija...
Pretpostavljam da bi brežuljak s kojega se može dalje pucati te koji ima samo jedan prilaz bio mnogo važnija meta od bilo kojeg resursa. Toranj s kojega se vidi četvrtina mape pristupačan samo pješadiji bi isto tako mogao biti veoma važan cilj.
Hoiće li uopšte biti amera?

Pa...bilo bi blesavo da ne stave amere. Mislim bar se nadam se da će stavti sve dosad samo dodat ruse i novu kampanju.Izvorno postao Srle
Rusi bi mogli bit nešto tipa imperial guard. Vjerovatno će bit neki brave bonusi i ubijanje svojih kad im padne neki moral ili nešto, u svakom slučaju zanimljivo.
Zašto bi bilo blesavo da nema amera ako se igra odvija na istočnom bojištu? Uostalom ti zbilja misliš da ćeš uz coh 2 dobiti prijašnju igru sa ekspanzijama iako igra koristi novi engine i uvodi nove stvari poput snijega?

- Soldiers now can jump over their cover
- The AI in the campaign is now not scripted anymore, they use the same AI as in skirmish mode, which makes it much more interesting
- Retreat means death in the campaign (but don't know if scripted or not)
- The recoil when the T-34 shoots even affects the environmental physics. --> ground shakes and lets the cup of coffee of General Annoying fall on his new uniform
- They want the coop mode to be really big, because a high amount of players prefered to play with other players against the AI
- German troops stand out with their advanced technology compared with the russians, upgrades and tactical use of special abilities are more important for the Wehrmacht than for the Soviets
- The Russians rely on mass but class and like to use brute force. They got many powerful tanks.
- The developers don't want to tell us yet if tanks can break through ice but they said: "Dont underestimate General snow and General mud!"
- You are able to steal the enemies vehicles
- Base building will stay in game

Bila je neka rasprava dok još foum niste imali, samo onaj portal...sjećam setoga, sad ne znam tko je, ali netko iz playomanie je....e sad koliko me pamćenje služi
